Hiring: Sales Executive (Georgetown, Penang)
This is a sales role driven by ‘Closing Deals.’
Working within clearly defined product offerings and established sales SOPs, you will focus on successfully converting targets into closed deals, one by one.
Based in our Penang branch, you will serve a diverse client base across Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, with Taiwan being your primary market focus.
As this is a cross-border role, you will engage with clients primarily through digital channels, including professional email correspondence, telephone outreach, and video conferencing.
We are looking for a goal-oriented professional who finds genuine achievement in securing deals and consistently hitting targets. You should be passionate about the “art of the close” and possess the discipline to follow structured processes while maintaining a proactive, persuasive approach.

1. What Success Looks Like?
In this role, excellence is not merely about “following through” on tasks, but rather about leveraging existing processes and support to:
- Rapidly and strategically following up on inbound leads generated through our digital platforms.
- Providing clear, persuasive introductions to our suite of products and solutions that resonate with client needs.
- Actively guiding clients through the decision-making process when they are hesitant, replacing passive waiting with professional persistence.
- Consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while taking full accountability for the final closing of every deal.
We expect you to thrive on the sales process and the satisfaction of closing deals, while maintaining the ability to make rational and effective sales judgements within clearly defined rules and SOPs.
2. Core Responsibilities
Under the established sales processes and product frameworks, your core responsibilities includes:
- Lead Engagement & Sales Progression
Proactively follow up on new enquiries from the website, communicating with clients via email, telephone, and video conferencing to proactively drive deals to closure. - Expert Product & Solution Presentation
Sell Google Workspace and other products with established SOPs, providing clear explanations of solution details and feature differentials. - Sales Target Achievement
Take ownership of individual sales targets with team support, while continuously refining your sales cadence to ensure consistent performance. - Cross-Border Client Relations
Serve clients across the Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore markets simultaneously, adapting communication styles to align with local market cultures. - Sales Administration & Process Management
Handle quotations, contracts, invoices, and relevant internal administrative workflows to ensure the seamless completion of sales cases. This role involves a significant volume of administrative and clerical tasks, requiring extensive computer operations and email correspondence. - Close Collaboration with the Taiwan Team
Synchronise client status and progress with the Taiwan sales team to ensure information transparency and seamless workflows.
3. Work Environment and Team Support
This is not a sales role where you will be left to figure things out on your own.
- From day one, the Taiwan sales team will provide comprehensive training and “shadowing” support.
- You will work in close, daily partnership with our leadership and core teams based in Taiwan.
- To ensure seamless team integration and communication, your working hours and public holiday schedule will align with the Taiwan calendar. This synchronization allows for real-time collaboration and a unified team rhythm.
- You will be equipped with comprehensive product knowledge and clearly defined sales processes.
Our team operates at a fast pace, frequently requiring rapid context switching between replying to emails, answering calls, processing documents, and following up with clients.
We look for individuals who can adapt to a multitasking environment and resume workflows quickly following interruptions.
4. Roadmap for Success: Your First 6 Months
Phase 1 (Months 1–2): Foundation & Core Sales Cadence
Complete training on products, sales processes, and fundamental cloud knowledge to establish a baseline sales cadence.
Phase 2 (Months 3–4): Ownership & Consistent Momentum
Transition to independently follow up with clients, proactively drive decision-making, and consistently achieving sales targets.
Phase 3 (Months 5–6): Sustained Performance & Impact
Establish your own sales cadence and consistently deliver closing results within the framework of established SOPs.

6. Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Currently based in Malaysia with the ability to work in our Penang office.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English
- Proficient in word processing and email correspondence, with strong computer literacy and the ability to manage high volumes of administrative and system-related tasks efficiently.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment while maintaining a baseline of accuracy and efficiency.
- A genuine passion about sales, goal-oriented, and possesses the drive to take proactive action in moving tasks forward.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possesses experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or cloud-related products.
- Familiar in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc).
- Proficient in using computer keyboard shortcuts to enhance daily operational efficiency.
- Proficient in Cantonese.
- Familiar with the Taiwan market, or possesses prior experience living, working, or maintaining long-term interactions in Taiwan.
- Experienced in inbound sales or solution-based selling.
7. Is This the Right Fit for You?
This position is likely not the right fit for those who lack a drive for closing deals or who prefer a reactive rather than proactive communication style. Success in this role also requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a high-speed environment; if you prefer to avoid roles with a heavy emphasis on administrative and clerical duties, this may not be the path for you.
8. Evaluation & Remuneration
At TS Cloud, we move away from traditional seniority-based models. Instead, we foster a meritocratic environment where your professional value and the tangible results you deliver are the primary drivers for advancement.
- Performance Reviews: Conducted every 3 months.
- Promotion Evaluations: Conducted every 6 months.
Upon joining, the position is classified as Grade 2. The established annual salary range—which encompasses your base pay and a guaranteed one-month annual bonus—is RM 52,000 – RM 71,500.
At a 100% sales target achievement rate, the total annual remuneration can reach up to RM 72,570 – RM 99,785. It is important to note that our performance-based commissions are entirely uncapped and disbursed according to your actual achievement metrics; exceptional performers may lead to earnings exceeding these figures.
