Hiring: Sales Executive (Georgetown, Penang)

This is a results-driven sales role designed for a “closer” who thrives in a high-conversion environment.
Operating within a framework of clear product positioning and established sales SOPs, your mission is to convert target opportunities into successful partnerships. You will not just manage accounts; you will proactively drive client decision-making by leveraging our proven sales workflows and product value.

Based in our Penang branch, you will serve a diverse client base across Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore, with Taiwan being your primary market focus.
As this is a cross-border role, you will engage with clients primarily through digital channels, including professional email correspondence, telephone outreach, and video conferencing.

2. Core Responsibilities

Operating within our established sales frameworks and proven product ecosystems, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Engagement & Strategic Sales Progression
    Proactively follow up on website inquiries and utilize digital communication channels—including email, phone, and video conferencing—to move prospects through the pipeline and finalize deals.
  • Expert Product & Solution Consultation
    Sell Google Workspace and other established products by providing clear, comprehensive explanations of service plans and their key differentiators, ensuring clients understand the value of each solution.
  • Performance Accountability & Target Achievement
    Supported by a collaborative team environment, you will hold full accountability for your individual sales targets. You are expected to continuously refine and optimize your personal sales cadence to maximize conversion rates and efficiency.
  • Cross-Border Client Relations
    You will manage and grow a diverse client portfolio across Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore. This requires a high degree of cultural intelligence to adapt your communication style effectively, particularly for the Taiwan market, which serves as our primary focus.
  • Administrative Excellence & Workflow Management
    A critical component of this role involves the meticulous management of the sales lifecycle, including quotations, contracts, invoicing, and internal clerical workflows. You must be comfortable with a high volume of administrative tasks and extensive computer-based operations to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Integrated Synergy with the Taiwan Team
    You will work in close alignment with our Taiwan-based sales team, ensuring total transparency regarding client status and project milestones. This synchronization is vital for maintaining a smooth operational flow and a unified brand experience for our clients.

    From day one, the Taiwan sales team will provide an intensive onboarding program, including “ride-along” support, to ensure you are fully equipped and confident in our sales methodology.

    You will work in close, daily partnership with our leadership and core teams based in Taiwan.

    To ensure seamless team integration and communication, your working hours and public holiday schedule will align with the Taiwan calendar. This synchronization allows for real-time collaboration and a unified team rhythm.

    You will be backed by a sophisticated library of product documentation, established deployment frameworks, and proven sales workflows.

4. Roadmap for Success: Your First 6 Months

Phase 1 (Months 1–2): Foundation & Core Sales Cadence

During your initial onboarding, you will focus on mastering our product suite, internal sales workflows, and the fundamentals of cloud infrastructure. Your primary goal is to establish a disciplined sales rhythm and a deep understanding of our operational baseline.

Phase 2 (Months 3–4): Ownership & Consistent Momentum

As you transition into active account management, you will demonstrate the ability to lead client engagements independently. We expect you to proactively guide the decision-making process and begin achieving your sales targets with increasing consistency and professional autonomy.

Phase 3 (Months 5–6): Sustained Performance & Impact

By this stage, you will have solidified your personal sales cadence, delivering reliable conversion results and successful deployments. You will be expected to master the art of closing deals within our SOP framework, contributing consistently to the team’s growth and your own professional success.

6. Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Currently based in Malaysia with the ability to work consistently from our Penang office.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin is required (to serve our primary market in Taiwan), complemented by proficiency in English for internal and regional communication.
  • Highly capable of managing professional correspondence and high volumes of administrative tasks with precision. You should be comfortable navigating complex systems and maintaining meticulous digital records.
  • The ability to multitask effectively within a high-velocity environment, maintaining both accuracy and efficiency under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for sales and a goal-oriented nature.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the cloud technology sector.
  • Strong familiarity with the Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
  • A high level of computer literacy, including the use of keyboard shortcuts and productivity tools to maximize daily output.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in Cantonese to better serve our regional client base.
  • Prior experience living, working, or interacting extensively with the Taiwan market, allowing for immediate cultural and professional rapport.
  • A background in Inbound Sales or Solution Selling frameworks.

8. Evaluation & Remuneration

At TS Cloud, we move away from traditional seniority-based models. Instead, we foster a meritocratic environment where your professional value and the tangible results you deliver are the primary drivers for advancement.

  • Performance Reviews: Conducted every 3 months.
  • Promotion Evaluations: Conducted every 6 months.

Upon joining, the position is classified as Grade 2. The established annual salary range—which encompasses your base pay and a guaranteed one-month annual bonus—is MYR 52,000 – 71,500.

At a 100% sales target achievement rate, your total projected annual remuneration increases to a range of MYR 72,570 – 99,785. It is important to note that our performance-based commissions are entirely uncapped and disbursed according to your actual achievement metrics; therefore, exceptional performers have the opportunity to significantly exceed these estimated ranges.
